Fidanza designs and
builds Billet Aluminum flywheels with extreme
precision. Light weight, high strength and high-heat
dissipation will give you the high performance and
power you're seeking and give your engine that
needed edge. You'll see an increase in usable
horsepower, and engine life can be extended with
less stress on the crankshaft. Flywheels are milled from high-quality 6061 T-6 Billet aluminum or 2024 T3 aluminum, depending on the model.
The friction surface is 1050 high-carbon steel, secured with Grade 10 Aerospace military-grade fasteners.
Fidanza flywheels can mate with any type of clutch material, including Kevlar, ceramic, organic, metallic and sintered iron. The ring gears are heat-treated for durability and are made from 1050 steel, shrink-fitted, and secured with Grade 8 button screws. The friction surface is also incredibly strong, using 1050 steel. Most flywheel applications use a stepped dowel system, locking them into place, which ensures that the dowels cannot be removed once the pressure plate is installed. These flywheels are
