The Problem:
The original 1980-1994 Jaguar XJS V12 EFI wiring harness used
injector connectors and a type of 20 Ga (AWG) wire that were only rated up
to about 70 deg C (about 158 deg F), and mounted on the (hot) bottom of the
"V". This harness was not well suited to a hot, oily engine
environment. The result was the connectors and wire became brittle,
cracked, allowing corrosion damage, leading to poor performance and
sometimes, fuel injector failure. A new EFI harness from a Jaguar
dealer similar to the original, with the same problems, will cost you about
$700.
The Solution: Replace
your inferior stock EFI wiring harness with a new, custom hand-made XJS V12
EFI Harness, that;

Uses far superior harness components
- 16 Ga (AWG) Type SXL, chemically cross-linked polyethylene
high performance, thick wall, special purpose automotive wire
rated up to 125°C (257°F)
- NEW injector connectors with spring locks
- NEW rubber boots
- High-temperature [149°C (300°F)] wire loom wrapping
originally developed for ambulance and fire equipment
manufacturers providing protection and a cosmetically
good-looking harness.
Is better engineered than the original and other
after-market harnesses
- Goes over the A/C compressor, rather than under it, making
installation and maintenance much easier.
- The harness runs cooler by attaching to the intake manifold
bolts, rather than the bolt heads holding the valley cover on,
which gets it up off the "V" floor. This will have minimal
change to the engine appearance and will eliminate the harness
sitting in oil deposits.
Is designed to use your original (now unavailable) EFI
harness interface connector by splicing it to the new
harness. You can do this yourself OR we will do it for you for
FREE if you send in your connector.

AS AN OPTION,
you can replace your original interface connector with 2
new, mated-pair WeatherPack™ connectors at an additional
cost. Your new harness will be supplied with one male
and one female WeatherPack™ connector on the EFI Harness and
you must then splice the supplied mating connectors (with 6
inch pigtail wires attached) into your engine wiring.
