mesh install
- Remove bumper center decorative chrome strip
strip (8 mm wrench) and the overider plastic covers (plastic
rivets).
- Do a test position on the grille
-
This grille will be secured using two or four screws that
will be mounted into the bumper overiders (otherwise known
as the bumper guards).
- Powdercoated versions only need two
screws.
- Position the grille again and make sure all
ends are aligned. If the grille appears short apply pressure on
the top and bottom.
- Make a mark where all screws will be placed.
- Drill a hole for the screws
- It is recommended that you paint the
overiders a semi gloss or flat black. This can be done with
regular spray paint.
- Again position the grille and install one or
two screws on each of the bumper overiders.
- If screws appear to go through the mesh, use
needle nose pliers to tighten the mesh strands
- Make final adjustments and install the second
screw.
